The
Eastern Languages and Civilisations Centre has been collaborating
for years with cultural institutions in Greece, among which the
following:
The
National Theatre, the Greek
Art Theatre, the Greek Film Centre
(translation and subtitling of plays and movies for the Izmir,
Ankara and Istanbul festivals), the National Gallery, the Athens
Concert Hall (translation of catalogues, resumes, leaflets).
Moreover,
artists, scientists, writers etc. have been cooperating with us
in order to promote their work in Turkey and in other countries.
Teachers
and collaborators of the ELCC have taught or are currently teaching
at the Europeal Translation Centre (E.K.ME.L.), being experienced
literary translators from or into Turkish and other languages.
